On 7th December 2018 the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia adopted the amendments to the Personal Income Tax Law and the Law on compulsory social insurance contributions, which came into force on 16th December 2018.
IFRS 16 – Leases Entered Into Force, Serbia is yet to Adopt It
A new standard, IFRS 16 “Leases”, applies to annual reporting periods commencing as of 1 January. Still, Serbia has not yet transposed the standard, meaning that, for the time being, changes introduced by the new standard are not in force in Serbia.
