Congratulations to our team for their latest contribution to the World Bank Group’s research.

Our Senior Partner Jelena Gazivoda, Senior Associate Ivana Petkovic, and Senior Associate Marko Mrdja participated in Doing Business research,  which contains quantified, comparable measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 190 economies. It is a valuable contribution, essential for ensuring the quality of the data gathered.

They shared their knowledge and expertise in the areas of insolvency in Serbia and, Electric energy regulation and market in Serbia.

The Resolving Insolvency indicator, which measures the time, cost, and outcome of insolvency proceedings involving domestic entities and the quality of the insolvency laws and regulations, is one of the topics published by Doing Business. Contributions made by the participants make it possible for the project to disseminate regulatory best practices that inspire reform efforts.

The Getting Electricity indicator, which measures the number of procedures, time, and cost required to obtain a new commercial electricity connection and the reliability of supply and transparency of tariffs index, is another important topic, where our team gave expert support to putting together a new set of global indicators.
