JPM contributed to CEE Legal Matters Comparative Legal Guide: Renewable Energy 2023

JPM was invited to be the exclusive country contributor to the CEE Legal Matters Comparative Legal Guide: Renewable Energy 2023 for Serbia.

Our team of legal experts, led by Senior Partner Dr Jelena Gazivoda, Partner Nikola Djordjević and Senior Associates Marko Mrdja and Živko Simijonović contributed to frame this overview for Serbia sharing their extensive knowledge and great experience.

The Legal Guide offers an overview of the covered countries’ renewable energy sectors and provides an in-depth analysis of each market’s legal framework, domestic sales and imports/exports, foreign investment and participation, and protection of investment. It also looks at the development of renewable energy projects from granting grid connection rights to stages of development processes to mandatory state/public participation, and risks to be considered.
