The new Law on the Central Register of Beneficial Owners in Serbia

As of 1 October 2025, significant regulatory changes will take effect with the entry into force of the new Law on the Central Register of Beneficial Owners in Serbia.

The New Law introduces stricter requirements for registered entities, including:

  • submission of supporting documentation for identifying beneficial owners,
  • annual confirmation of data accuracy, and
  • detailed rules on access, retention, and electronic registration.

All registered entities must comply within 60 days by 30 November 2025.
