JPM at the 7th International Conference on Mineral Resources in Serbia

JPM's Senior Associate Janko Nikolić participated in a panel ‘Improving mining industry through financing projects and enabling legal & taxation framework’, speaking on the importance of adopting and promoting model investment agreements between the Government and mining companies.

7th International Conference on Mineral Resources in the Republic of Serbia was held on October 4 in Metropol Palace Hotel, Belgrade.
JPM Janković Popović Mitić Senior Associate Janko Nikolić participated in a panel ‘Improving mining industry through financing projects and enabling legal & taxation framework’, speaking on the importance of adopting and promoting model investment agreements between the Government and mining companies.
Model investment agreements with a degree of in-built flexibility are in line with best international practices in similar jurisdictions and aimed at reducing investment risk, increasing certainty and ultimately attracting more investments in the Serbian mining sector.
