JPM LABOR LAW TEAM HOLDS A SEMINAR FOR MEMBERS OF FOREIGN BUSINESS ASSOCIATIONS IN SERBIA

JPM labor team held a seminar “Most frequent employer mistakes at termination of employment and how to avoid them” tailored for in-house counsels, company directors and HR professionals.

On 30 January, JPM Senior Partner Zorica Alavantić and Senior Associates Jelena Aleksić and Milan Ranđelović held a seminar “Most frequent employer mistakes at termination of employment and how to avoid them” tailored for in-house counsels, company directors and HR professionals.

The aim of the seminar was to shed light on the procedure of employment contract termination, the ways in which employer mistakes can be prevented during the termination procedure, with special emphasis on current court practice, legal opinions of the competent ministry and most efficient ways for an employer to regulate the termination procedure by adoption of internal acts

The topical event was organised in cooperation with the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy (Advantage Austria), the German-Serbian Business Association (DSW), the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (CCIS), the Slovenian Business Club (SPK) and the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (CCFS), attended by close to 150 participants.
