Since 2017, CEE Legal Matters, the premier source of news and information about lawyers and the legal sector in Central and Eastern Europe, has given out the CEE Deal of the Year Awards to recognize the transactions, financings, initial public offerings (IPOs), and other deals that support regional growth as well as the attorneys and law firms that make them possible.
Members of the Final Selection Committee are tasked with reviewing the shortlisted submissions in each CEE jurisdiction and casting votes to select the ultimate winners – including the final CEE Deal of the Year. Accordingly, Jelena was invited by CEE Legal Matters to join the Country Selection Committee for Serbia based on her reputation, expertise, and knowledge, as well as her well-established commitment to the development of the region’s legal and commercial markets.

The finalists for the CEE Deal of the Year will be identified in the March 2022 issue of the CEE Legal Matters magazine, with winners selected by a Final Selection Committee announced at the annual CEE Deal of the Year Banquet scheduled for April 25, 2023, in Istanbul.
